This review is from: Oster OGB8902 0.9-Cubic Feet Microwave Oven, Black (Kitchen) Better than I had expected: inexpensive, arrived second day after being shipped (FREE) via UPS Ground, inner enameling appears excellent (hence unlikely to rust even with heavy use), standard reversible rotating base plate and the customary layout of quality microwaves including better than average exhaust fan capacity, and door is yanked open (= no button press needed). So far (second month) it cooks (900W) 40% faster than the 700W oven it replaced !! The only problem I've encountered is difficulty reading the touchpad controls in low light - because of badly chosen colors on a black background which should have been, but is not, illuminated. BON APETITE. This magical purchase was made possible by AMAZON - yes, Verified. When we contacted them to sort out the details of getting the faulty microwave replaced, the sent us the list of requirements. The company requires you to mail them (at cost to you) a section of the power cord that you must cut off the micro, as well as the broken pieces (that you must break) of the turntable from inside the machine. You also need to dig up your receipt from nearly a year ago, if you are lucky enough to have it and send that along with the paper they send affixed with stickers you need to peel off the back of the micro. Then you need to send all this to Canada, so enjoy the cost of shipping that you have to pay. For all this and the fact that their machine did not last a single year working properly, I would advise avoiding Oster machines in general and Microwaves specifically.
