The device comes in attractive packagng with really nice, easy to follow directions that I did not even need my reading glasses for. It took me less than twenty minutes to set the device up with my house Wi-Fi system. It took me about another ten minutes to log in my old Skype information. The telyHD uploaded all my contacts from Skype in a nice easy to use address book. The picture quality from my laptop to the Tely HD is excellant and the sound quality is out of this world for a speaker phone type device. When I call home from my laptop to the telyHD, despite my children moving all over the room, I can hear and see them during out conversation. That goal was accomplished and much much more.To test the product, I setup one unit at my office in the conference room. I figured it would take about half hour to an hour to setup. I was pleasantly surprised when I had the TelyHD installed and running in 10 minutes (that was from unpackaging the product to being online video-conferencing). I have limited bandwidth at my Rural office (3mbps download/768kbps upload) but that did not reduce the quality of the audio and video. The Video was crystal clear on both ends and the audio came across as clear as a standard phone. I have since ordered two more of these for other locations. Once I was hired, we gave it to her for Mother's Day and set it up for her. Setup was quick and easy, and I was impressed with the extremely straightforward user interface. Unfortunately, the device crashed about 20 seconds into our first test call, a failure that was consistent even after resetting the device to factory defaults and checking for software updates. Tely emailed me an RMA label and shipped a replacement unit immediately when the return tracking number went live. They even included a handwritten note from Tely customer service. Upon receiving the replacement my mother-in-law was able to make and receive Skype calls with no problems.
